Descripción:
This project consist of the modernization works of the existing building #415 at CSJMTC. Construction works include the demolition of one (1) level structure (Aprox. Area: 3,240 SF) composed of concrete floor slab, honeycomb walls, metal columns and lightweight metal ceiling structure with asphalt laminate on wood roof and the construction of a two (2) level, poured concrete and concrete block structure, approximately 5,903 SF. The new design will include sitework to connect to the existing water, sewer and electrical infrastructure, a new space layout to meet current design criteria and accomadate dormitory; plumbing and energy saving equipment for the toilets and shower areas; new laundry facility within the structure. Electrical equipment equipment include energy saving fixtures with motion sensors. Mechanical system comply with current energy savings standards and EPA watersense.

Scope of work, speccifications, instructions to bidders and all necessary information prepared by Construction and Facilities Management Office (CFMO) may be obtained at Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ), Puerto Rico Army National Guard (PRARNG) #100 Esteves St. Pda. 3-1/2 Puerta de Tierra, San Juan, Puerto Rico. Delivery will be made within period of 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the corresponding amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price. Bond capacity is required for proposal submission. A site visit will be heald on May 31, 2016 right after completion of pre-bid meeting. The bidders will have until June 15, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. to submit any question in written. Questions must be sent to yanira.rivera16.nfg@mail.mil It is bidder's responsability to contact CFMO to confirm receipt of their request. Bidders shall submit their proposal at the JFHQ, CFMO #100 Esteves St. Pda. 3-1/2 Puerta de Tierra, San Juan, Puerto Rico. Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud in the SMD conference room on June 28, 2016 at 10:15 a.m. Attendance of pre-bid meeting, site visit and pick-up of bid documents (scope of work, specifications and instructions to bidders) are mandatory to submit the proposal.
