Descripción: Improvements to the existing chlorination room. The project includes the construction of a new treatment room, chlorination room and storage room, backwash drainage system, salt storage room and an access area to the salt storage room. The new treatment rooms include instrumentation equipment, access doors, adequate ventilation equipment, electrical equipment, mechanical equipment and the appropriate safety measures. The backwash drainage system consist of two new submersible pumps and new ductile iron pipe to be connected with existing sanitary line. In addition, the project includes the installation of a chain link fence and gate in order to limit the access to treatment plant.

Nevertheless, in order to be considered for award the Bidder must be registered at the Unique Bidder's Register of Puerto Rico General Services Administration (Registro Unico de Licitadores-ASG).3- A provisional bid bond in the corresponding amount of 10% of the bid price must be included as part of the proposal.4- Bid documents will be distributed free of charge from Tuesday, February 23, 2018 to February 29, 2018, from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. No documents will be distributed outside of the period just established. No documents will be sent by email.5- Mandatory pre-bid meeting will be on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. Meeting location is TAG conference room at CSJTC, Salinas, P.R. (PR-52 exit #65). Attendance to the meeting is limited to two representatives, one car by company. You're highly encouraged to comply with this requirement since parking accomodation and seating is limited.6- A mandatory site visit will be held right after the completion of the meeting.7- All questions must be submmitted in writing on or before Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. POC for questions is Mrs. Yasmara Rios Rivera at yasmara.rios2.nfg@mail.mil or (787) 289-1400 exts. 1050/1058. It is the Contractors responsibility to confirm the delivery of the questions.8- Due date for proposals is Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. Bid packages must be submitted to CFMO office at Joint Forces Headquarters, Puerta de Tierra, San Juan. This is an open bid process, opened to the public. Proposals will be read out loud the same day at 9:15 a.m.
