Descripción:
The proposed project is for the modernization of Peñuelas Readiness Center, including but not limited to removal and mitigation of hazardous materials, demolition of existing elements, renovation of existing areas, improvements to building entrance, painting, parking improvements and other activities.

Notas Especiales
1- Instructions to bidders, scope of work, drawings and technical specifications will be distributed at the Construction and Facilities Management Office (CFMO) from Tuesday, July 24 at 7:30 a.m. until Friday, July 27, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. The office will be opened on July 25 and 27. Document distribution time is from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m., except on the closing date when they will be available until 2:30 p.m. The documents are free of charge. The office is located at PRARNG Joint Forces Head Quarters, #100 Esteves St., Pta. de Tierra, San Juan, P.R.
2- A bid bond of 10% of the bid price is required with each proposal.
3- Mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on July 31, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the project location, Peñuelas Readiness Center located at PR-365 in Peñuelas, P.R. A mandatory site visit will be held right after the meeting.
4- Due date for questions concerning this bid is Monday, August 6, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. Questions must be in writing, to the attention of SFC Tomás López Ramírez at tomas.lopezramirez.mil@mail.mil, and copy to Ms. Yasmara Ríos at yasmara.rios2.nfg@mail.mil. It is the Contractor's responsibility to confirm the delivery of their questions.
5-Due date for proposals is Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Proposals must be submitted to CFMO. All proposals will be read out loud for the benefit of all participants.
6- Bid packages will not be distributed outside of the period established in this invitation. It is mandatory to pick up such documents before pre-bid meeting date.
7- Bid process is opened to the public.
8- It is highly recommended that the Contractor familiarizes with the bid package before the pre-bid conference. Both administrative and technical support personnel will attend the meeting and will be available to answer or clarify any information about the project.
