Descripción: Restoration works include the removal of existing primary lines and wooden poles, new concrete poles and primary lines installation, PREPA standards replacement for the poles to be improved and replacement of an existing 300 kVA electrical substation that currently feeds the Joint Forces Headquarters (JFHQ). The project includes the relocation of existing secondary lines and feeders, communications lines and speakers to the new concrete poles.

Scope of works, specifications, instructions to bidders and all necessary information prepared by Construction and Facilities Management Office (CFMO) may be obtained at JFHQ, Puerto Rico Army National Guard (PRARNG) #100 Esteves St. Puerta de Tierra, San Juan, Puerto Rico. Delivery will be made within period of 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the corresponding amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price. Bond Capacity is required for proposal submission. A site visit will be held on June 9, 2016 right after completion of pre-bid meeting. Bidders will have until June 17, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. to submit any question in written. Questions must be sent to yasmara.rios2.nfg@mail.mil It is bidder's responsability to contact CFMO to confirm receipt of their request. Biddders shall submit their proposal at the JFHQ, CFMO, #100 Esteves St. Puerta de Tierra, San Juan, Puerto Rico. Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Conference Room of the SMD on June 24, 2016 at 10:15 a.m. Attendance of pre-sib meeting, site visit and pick-up documents (scope of works, specifications and instructions to bidders) are mandatory to submit the proposal.
