​In accordance with Act No. 44 of June 21, 1988, as amended, and Regulation for Procurement No. 5853 of the Puerto Rico Infrastructure Financing Authority (herinafter "PRIFA") approved September 9, 1998, PRIFA is requesting competitive bids from contractors for the following projects; Design-Build Improvements to the Roberto Clemente Elementary School and the María Teresa Serrano Elementary School Basketball Court. The design-build improvements for the Roberto Clemente Elementary School in Carolina, Puerto Rico consist of minor improvements to the existing facilities.  The work to be performed include school's roof waterproofing, wall and ceiling cracks repair, new paint coat application to the entire school, doors and windows replacement, minor improvement to the school's electrical infrastructure, replacement of all lighting fixtures, and the renovation of the existing school bathrooms to make them ADA compliant, among other works.  The improvements design is to be performed by the Contractor. The design-build improvements for the María Teresa Serrano Elementary School Basketball Court in the Municipality of Carolina, Puerto Rico consist of the construction of a new concrete slab for the basketball court which is under an existing metal structure, minor site improvements, and the construction of access-ways to the court, among other miscellaneous works.  The full design of the works is to be performed by the Contractor. ​Bid Documents may be collected on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., and will be available until Friday, October 27, 2015 at 4:00 p.m., at the Puerto Rico Infrastructure Financing Authority's Offices located at 268 Muñoz Rivera Avenue, World Plaza Building, 12th Floor, Hato Rey, Puerto Rico. Bid Documents will have a non-reimbursable cost of one hundred dollars ($100.00) payable to the Puerto Rico Infrastructure Financing Authority via certified check or money order.  Payments in cash will not be accepted.
