In accordance with Act No. 44 of June 21, 1988, as amended, an Procurement Regulation Number 5853 of Puerto Rico Infrastructure Financing Authority (PRIFA) approved September 9, 1998, the PRIFA's is requesting competitive bids from contractors, for the project referenced above.The Office of the Commissioner of Municipal Affairs (OCAM by its Spanish acronym) is responsible of promoting training and technical assistance programs to mayors, municipal legislators and minicipal employees, for the purpose of guiding them on matters such as municipal proficiency, federal fund management  and promoting local development.  As such, will be developing the new facilities for the Centro de Innovacion Social (CIS) that include three areas: Webinar Studios, a Multiuse Space, and Offices.  The project include the renovation of 12,046 square feet of an existing building interior, 812 square feet of new construction and some site work (1,946 square feet, parking, new building, new building facades, and sidewalks).
  
  
  
    Bid package can be collected on June 24, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. and will be available until July 2, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at PRIFA's offices located at 268 Muñoz Rivera Avenue in World Plaza building, 12th Floor, Hato Rey.  Bid packages will have a non-reimbursable cost of one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) payable to the PRIFA with certified check or money order. Payments in cash will not be accepted.

    The mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at PRIFA's offices located at 268 Muñoz Rivera Avenue in World Plaza, 12th Floor Conference Room.  All formal bids must include a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum bid value.  All bids shall be delivered by the Bidders at PRIFA's offices located at 268 Muñoz Rivera Avenue in World Plaza building, 12th Floor, Hato Rey by the aforementioned date and time.  All bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud by the Board of Awards at the 12th Floor Conference Room, at the Bid Submittal Due Date.  Additionally, in accordance with Law Number 85 of June 18, 2002 the contractor shall submit an Eligibility Certificate from the General Services Administration.  PRIFA reserves the right to accept or reject any bids and to recommend to the Executive Director the bid's award under most favorable conditions to PRIFA.
