​The Puerto Rico Public Housing Administration (PRPHA) will receive Sealed Bids in accordance with the Bid package instructions and requirements from General Contractors/Bidders for the Comprehensive Modernization Works (Phase I) at Bernardino Villanueva Public Housing Project (RQ5024) Aguadilla, PR.  The instructions and requirements (Bid Package) governing this procurement process, and other pertinent documents, may be obtained at a cost of $10.00 per each set per interested Contractor/Bidder, on business days, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 m.d. and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Collection Office 6th floor, Juan C. Cordero Dávila Building, located at 606 Barbosa Avenue, San Juan, P. Attendance is not mandatory, but we encourage Respondents to participate.  All interested firms are hereby invited to a Site- Visit to be held on July 17, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., at Bernardino Villanueva Public Housing Communal Center, Aguadilla.  Bids will be received at Procurement and Contracting Area, 9th floor, Juan César Cordero Dávila Building located at 606 Barbosa Avenue, San Juan, P.R.00917 until the date and hour described above.  All Bidders shall be qualified to obtain and submit a Bid Guarantee equivalent to five percent (5%) of the Bid, valid for ninety (90) days, in the form of a certified check, a bank draft, or a US Government Bond at par value, or bond from an approved insurance company listed on the most recently published U.S. Department of Treasury, Circular 570 List and authorized to do business in the Government of Puerto Rico. If a Bid Bond or Guarantee is not submitted with the Bid, the Bid shall be rejected as non-responsive. All Bids received will be publicly opened and only Bidders name and Bid amounts will be read aloud, during the Bid Opening. Bids submitted after the date and time established for opening, shall be recorded as a late Bid and retained unopened in the contract file.  No Bid should be withdrawn, for a period of 90 days after the date of opening of Bids, without the consent of PRPHA.  PRPHA will not be liable for any claim, loss, damage or cost as a result of this Invitation for Bid.  PRPHA reserves the right to reject any or all Bids received and to waive any informality in the Bidding process.
