BID NUMBER:  AFI-BP-14-02-ARRA
PROJECT: WAP-ARRA 2013 RESIDENTIAL REFRIGERATOR REPLACEMENT, AIR CONDITIONER REPLACEMENT AND GENERAL CONTRACTOR SERVICES
 
This project consists of the supply and installation of approximately thirty (30) air conditioners, forty (40) refrigerators, and fifty (50) general contractor works orders, and the removal and disposition of the existing air conditioning and refrigerators units at WAP eligible homes throughout northern and eastern regions of Puerto Rico (as specify in the Bid Documents). All work to be done will be in accordance with the Contract Documents.
Bidders shall be submitting Proposals, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders contained in the Bid Package, no later than Friday, August 9, 2013 at 12:00 PM (noon).  A compulsory pre-bid conference will be held on Monday, July 29, 2013 at 2:00 PM. The mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at PRIFA’s offices located on 268 Muñoz Rivera Avenue in World Plaza Building, Fourth (4th) Floor, Hato Rey at Engineering Department Conference Room.
Bid Packages can be purchase from Monday, July 22, 2013 at 3:00 PM to Monday, July 29, 2013 at 5:00 PM at PRIFA’s offices. Bid Packages will have a non-reimbursable cost of twenty dollars ($20.00) payable to the Puerto Rico Infrastructure Financing Authority. Payments can be made by certified check or money order. Payments in cash will not be accepted. 
All formal bids must include a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum bid value. PRIFA reserves the right to accept or reject any bids and to recommend to the Executive Director the bid’s award under the most favorable conditions to PRIFA.
Questions and clarifications should be submitted in writing to Magda L. Aguiar Serrano, Esq., President of the Board of Awards, no later than Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 3:00 PM. All interested contractors must comply with the Bid Package’s provisions and they will be responsible to deliver the documents before bid’s submission deadline.
