IMPROVEMENTS IN CANGREJOS AND PARCELAS MARTINEZ SPECIAL COMMUNITIES
MUNICIPALITY OF HUMACAO, PUERTO RICO
 
The works will be executed in the municipality of Humacao, Puerto Rico at the Special Communities. The Cangrejos Community project consist of the demolition and debris disposal of three (3) existing abandoned structures, as well as the construction of civil works and grading improvements in an area adjacent to Camino Cangrejos in order to enhance, improve, and restore site.  Said civil works and grading improvements include:  clearing and grubbing of the site, construction of retaining wall. The Parcelas Martínez project consists of civil works for drainage, grading and erosion control for a street portion. All work to be done will be in accordance with the Contract Documents.
Bid packages can be collected since September 6, 2013 between 10:30 am to 2:00 pm at PRIFA’s offices located on Hato Rey at 268 Muñoz Rivera Avenue in World Plaza building, Fourth Floor, Hato Rey.  Bid packages will have a non-reimbursable cost of $20.00 payable to the Puerto Rico Infrastructure Financing Authority with certified check or money order. Payments in cash will not be accepted.

The mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at PRIFA’s offices located on 268 Muñoz Rivera Avenue in World Plaza, Fourth Floor Engineering Department Conference Room.
 
All formal bids must include a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum bid value.  Additionally, in accordance with Law Number 85 of June 18, 2002, the contractor shall submit an Eligibility Certificate from the General Services Administration. PRIFA reserves the right to accept or reject any bids and to recommend to the Executive Director the bid’s award under the most favorable conditions to PRIFA.
 
All interested contractors must comply with the Bid packages provisions and they will be responsible to deliver the documents before bid submission deadline.
