  ​In accordance with Act No. 44 of June 21, 1988, as amended, and Procurement Regulation Number 5853 of Puerto Rico Infrastructure Financing Authority (hereinafter "PRIFA") approved on September 9, 1998, PRIFA is requesting competitive quotations for the Acquisition of Chromebook Computers.                                                               
  
    The Department of Education, the Department of Transportation and Public Works, the Public Buildings Authority, PRIFA, the Public-Private Partnership Authority, and the Government Development Bank entered into an agreement by means of which the comprehensive modernization of various schools for the 21st Century Program, or "Escuelas de Primera".
   
  PRIFA came into an agreement with the Puerto Rico Telecomunications Regulatory Board (hereinafter "PRTRB") by means of which, PRIFA provides administrative and technical assistance in the purchase of chromebooks  for schools.  With the purpose of promoting the academic achievements of students in the mentioned Program, thePRTRB and PRIFA are interested in the acquisition of computers for some schools.  As such, PRIFA issues this Request for Proposals number AFI-BP-15-27-JRT with the purpose of executing a contract for the acquisition of the equipment specified hereinafter.  Documents can be collected on PRIFA offices, located at 268 Muñoz Rivera Avenue in World Plaza Building , 12th. Floor, Hato Rey, Puerto Rico.  Bid Packages will have a non-reimbursable cost of twenty dollars ($20.00) payable to PRIFA with certified check or money order.  Payments in cash will not be accepted. All formal bids must include a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum proposal value.  Additionally, in accordance with Law Number 85 of June 18, 2002, the proponent shall submit an Eligibility Certificate from the General Services Administration.
