Descripción: PRASA is requesting Statements of Qualification (SOQ) from companies capable of providing services related to the proper disposal, removal and adequate management of FOG deposits from its sewer systems, using solutions such as: innovative equipment and/or chemical technologies and/or biological technologies. Interested companies must have experience with application of such materials and related equipment usage, in addition to being able to work and respondto cleaning tasks as needed for treated FOG removal from inside sanitary sewer systems in order to help with compliance achievement with all regulatory agencies, safeguarding public health, and to have new alternatives to keep PRASA Sewer Systems in optimal long-term conditions.Interested companies shall be able to provide these services in one or more of PRASA's sanitary sewer system components, such as: pumping stations/lifting stations, sewer systems, pipes and sewer segments and manholes. Each of these components is part of an integrated system designed and built to effectively transport raw wastewater from homes, business companies and industrial customers to a wastewater treatment facility to undergo treatment and subsequent discharge to a receiving body of water in accordance with local and federal regulations (For these reasons, it is imperative that the treated FOG or its by-products are not neglected in the system).Companies shall provide a detailed description of the application of the proposed solution and/or the solution systems, where each is applicable within the sanitary sewerage system. The information submitted by interested companies through the SOQ will be reviewed and evaluated by PRASA.

PRASA will hold an Orientation Meeting with companies interested in submitting SOQ on Tuesday, July 9th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at eighth floor of PRASA Main Building, located at 604 Barbosa Avenue, Hato Rey, Puerto Rico 00917-4310. Interested companies may request from PRASA explanation or interpretation of any matter contained in this RFQ before and no later than 2:00 p.m. on July 23rd, 2019 (up to 15 calendar days prior to the due date for the RFQ - the “Clarification Deadline"). Any such request from interested firms must be made in writing via email (aaafogrfq@acueductospr.com) to the PRASA representative. If PRASA provides any clarification or additional information in response to a request, it will provide such clarification(s) by means of a written document delivered by email to all respondents no later than Thursday, August 1st, 2019. PRASA makes no guarantee of timely delivery of any addenda to any person or firm. SOQ Deadline and Submission InstructionsFive original hard copies and two digital copies in portable document format (“PDF") included in two separate compact discs (“CD") with the interested firm's information shall be delivered to PRASA at eighth floor of PRASA Main Building, located at 604 Barbosa Avenue, Hato Rey, Puerto Rico 00917-4310, no later than 2:00 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time on 13th August, 2019.
