Descripción:

​The 9-1-1 Service Governing Board is seeking competitive Bids for the rehabilitation and interior construction of an existing 6-story building and multilevel parking structure located at 1547 Ponce de León Avenue, San Juan, Puerto Rico, which will house the 9-1-1 Service Governing Board New Offices and Main Public Safety Answering Point.
The project consists of existing buildings’ repair or replacement of existing architectural elements and building systems elements and systems damaged due to lack of use or proper maintenance. The Project also includes interior construction works which include selective demolition, interior finishing, new partitions, doors and interior storefronts; floor, base, wall and ceiling finishes; bullet proof glazing, specialties; equipment; fire protection; HVAC; plumbing; electrical work; data/telecommunications systems; access control; intrusion and camera surveillance; provision of new furniture, relocation of existing furniture; and any other necessary incidental works to complete the Project. The Project was designed to achieve a LEED for BD+C v3 Silver Certification with the possibility of converting to LEED BD+C v4 Basic Certification.
The Project also includes various alternates which will add to the previously described works if accepted by the Owner during evaluation of Bids. These alternates are green roof works, installation of a photovoltaic system, installation of outdoor intake monitors, installation of a sunscreen structure at the northeast and northwest facades of the main building, and installation of window curtains.

Bidding Documents can be collected beginning Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. and will be available until Friday, August 21, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the 9-1-1 Service Governing Board offices located at Filipo Plana Street, Marginal Martínez Nadal, Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. Bidding Documents may only be pick-up from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Bidding Documents will have a non-reimbursable cost of two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) payable to the 9-1-1 Service Governing Board with certified check or money order. Payments in cash shall not be accepted.

The Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the 9-1-1 Service Governing Board offices located at Filipo Plana Street, Marginal Martínez Nadal, Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. All Bids must include a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum proposed price.
All Bids shall be delivered by Bidders to the 9-1-1 Service Governing Board offices located at Filipo Plana Street, Marginal Martínez Nadal, Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. All Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud by the Bids Board. Additionally, in accordance with Law No. 85 of June 18, 2002, all Bidders shall submit and Eligibility Certificate from the General Services Administration. The 9-1-1 Service Governing Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, and to recommend the Bid award under the most favorable conditions.
